Meet the Dungeon Masters
Brad DeBorde
(he/him)
Executive Director of QueerQuest, Lead Game Master
The Wandering Game Master
Brad DeBorde has been weaving stories for over two decades—both on stage and around the game table. With a BFA in Theatre from the University of North Texas and twenty years of experience as a theatre educator, Brad brings an actor’s heart, a director’s eye, and a storyteller’s soul to every campaign.
A celebrated educator, Brad was named one of Tarrant County’s Top Ten Teachers and nominated as Teacher of the Year at the prestigious Betty Lynn Buckley Awards. His creative work extends beyond the classroom and game table into film—most notably starring in Ten Years at Sea—and into the realm of fantasy literature with Paydunor, his original book series set in a world of intrigue, heroism, and myth.
At the table, Brad’s sessions blend theatricality and emotional depth, challenging players to not only roll dice but to explore what it means to be heroic, vulnerable, and human. Whether leading epic campaigns or intimate one-shots, he crafts every adventure with care, humor, and a sense of wonder worthy of the stage.
Aaron Vinson
(he/him)
Aaron the Arcane
Aaron the Arcane Weaver of Worlds is a seasoned Dungeon Master known for crafting immersive, fast-paced adventures that blend rich narrative with chaotic fun. With a reputation built on his monthly one-shots for Dungeons and Drafthouse and biweekly sessions at Wild Bills HobbyTown, Aaron brings his signature flair to every table. Whether guiding veteran adventurers or welcoming curious newcomers, he weaves worlds of danger, humor, and heroism! One unforgettable session at a time!
He is also a founding member and co-lead of the Game Master's Guild Group.
Bobbie
(she/her)
A Dungeons & Dragons player of almost two decades and a Dungeon Master of almost the same time, Bobbie blends a mixture of story telling, ambience though maps and music, and props to make a fun and exciting game for her players.
Bobbie's desire to teach and educate originate here in D&D, loving to teach new players and being patient with them, from helping them make their characters to answering any questions they might have. Veteran players will also enjoy the challenge of unique monsters, puzzles, and challenges in-game.
Expect a slightly more laid-back, medium-stakes game from this Dungeon Master.
Kerry Bell
(he/him)
Kerry Keeper of Quest
Kerry Keepr of Quest and of the Final Page, is a veteran Dungeon Master whose journey began with First Edition Dungeons & Dragons. With decades of storytelling under his belt, he brings depth, danger, and drama to his bi-monthly one-shots at Dungeons and Drafthouse and bi-weekly sessions at Wild Bills HobbyTown. Players know that when Kerry's at the helm, the final page is always epic! He is also a founding member and co-lead of the Game Master's Guild Group.
Annika Lunsford
(she/they)
Annika is a passionate and energetic DM who loves the rule of cool and getting players immersed in their story. Known for intriguing RP and chaotically fun combat for players of all levels and age, anyone is welcome at their table. She believes the only limit in DnD is your will!
Katie Deborde
(she/her)
BattleKat
DM BattleKat has fifteen years of tabletop experience under her belt, though her path behind the screen began only this past year. She gravitates toward the tactical side of play. She loves sorting through enemy abilities, setting up clever encounters and watching a well-timed strike land. Roleplay delights her, but good combat and enigmatic puzzles is where she feels most at home. She’s currently running Dungeon of the Mad Mage and has taken great delight in taking on the role of the unhinged gameshow-host who wanders that megadungeon’s halls.
When she’s not devising new ways to menace her party with imaginary peril, she relaxes with video games and crochet. In everyday life she works in education as support staff, which probably explains her steady patience when her players derail the plan in six different directions.
Darren
(he/him)
Darren has been playing D&D for almost a decade, starting when his friends nominated him to be DM for their first ever game right before watching the first Wonder Woman movie. He specializes in stories that combine character drama, real-world metaphor, and hilarious bits (can you tell he was an English major?). With Darren, look forward to a productive and communication-filled session zero, with character-driven sessions packed with fun to follow!
Outside of the game, Darren is an English teacher. He loves reading anything, writing D&D homebrew, and practicing his own creative writing outside of D&D. When he doesn’t DM home games, he’s played so many warlocks that he’s had to apologize about it.
Haley Savell
(she/her)
With deep roots in the tabletop community, Haley Savell has been crafting memorable Dungeons & Dragons experiences for a decade. As the former Adventurers League Store Coordinator for the Reaper Miniatures store, and the former event coordinator for Monkey Mind Tabletop, Haley played a key role in the D&D DFW convention scene from 2017–2020. If you rolled dice at a convention table during that time, chances are you’ve already adventured under her guidance.
Outside the game, Haley brings over fifteen years of theatre experience and seven years in education to every session she runs. Her background as a teacher ensures excellent table management, clear communication, and a welcoming space for both new and veteran players. Her theatre training shines through in her focus on immersive storytelling, character-driven moments, and pacing that keeps the spotlight firmly on the players.
At the table, Haley’s goal is simple: to create engaging, collaborative stories where every player feels seen, supported, and central to the adventure. She believes the best games are those where the world responds to player choices, and where the players truly feel like the stars of the show!
Nichole
(she/her)
Nichole the Narrative Nexus for Nerds, is a seasoned Dungeon Master known for her love of lore and mythology which she integrates within her stories. With a little less than a decade of experience under her belt that hasn't stopped her from running games both under Adventures League or the Rule of Cool. Her players know her for weaving recurring NPCs into her stories or adding a little magic to the experience.
Carl Miller
(he/him)
Carl has over 10 years of experience playing and DMing for D&D games, from 3rd edition through 5e 2024. He has helped brand new players as young as 13 make their first character and co-created stories with multi-year veteran players in long-form campaigns. His special interest is in helping connect players with their characters and their characters with the world of Dungeons and Dragons.
Anna
(she/her)
Anna is an experienced DM who loves creative storytelling and having a great time with her players!
She loves seeing how the story can involve through the players' actions. She loves to teach new players how to play, and is constantly learning new ways to play as well.
When not helping to craft worlds in Dungeons and Dragons, she is a graduate student studying Theatrical Costume and Scenic Design. She enjoys chilling with video games, reading, sewing, and writing. Expect fun, laughs, and chaos in her games!
